TomatoCart is new generation open source shopping cart solution developed by Elootec; it is branched from osCommerce 3 alpha 4 "Lebkuchen" as a separate project. Its feature packed out-of-the-box installation allows store owners to setup, run, and maintain their online stores with minimum effort and with no costs involved.
TomatoCart combines open source solutions to provide a free and open development platform, which includes the powerful PHP web scripting language, the stable Apache web server, and the fast MySQL database server.
With no restrictions or special requirements, TomatoCart can be installed on any PHP4 or PHP5 enabled web server, on any environment that PHP and MySQL supports, which includes Linux, Solaris, BSD, and Microsoft Windows environments.
text_pre_installation_check = Before proceeding to installation please make sure your system does meet the minimum requirements for installation. If any of these settings are not supported, please take appropriate actions to correct the errors. Failure to do so could lead to TomatoCart not functioning properly. text_database_server_setup = The database server stores the content of the online store such as product information, customer information, and the orders that have been made. Please consult your server administrator if your database server parameters are not yet known. text_web_server =The web server takes care of serving the pages of the online store to the visitors and customers. The web server parameters make sure the links to the pages point to the correct location.
Temporary files such as session data and cache files are stored in the work directory. It is important that this directory is located outside the web server root directory and is protected from public access.
text_online_store_settings =Here you can define the name of your online store, and the contact information for the store owner.
The administrator username and password are used to log into the protected administration tool section.
